Heliconia psitt.cv 'Kathy'
Kathy can grow 3' to 5' high ( 0.9m - 1.5m ) in full sun to half shade.
Inflorescence carrying 3 to 4 long bracts which are dark red.
Upper bracts orange-red towards base and along keel proximally.
Nicely contrasting golden-orange sepals have dark green to black bands and white tips.
A conspicuous H. psittacorum which produces inflorescences throughout the year under tropical
conditions.
