Heliconia metallica
A Heliconia species which is mainly grown for its foliage.
Leaves do have a white midrib on upper surface and are maroon below. This plant is
"cannoid" which means leaves are arranged like on Canna a relative of Heliconia.
Inflorescence consisting of 5 to 7 bracts, red to greenish red. Blooming all year.
Growing 4' to 8' high in full sun to 60% of shade.
