Heliconia latispatha cv. Distans
A smaller Heliconia which may grow 1.5' to 6' ( 0.5m to 1.8m) high in full sun to half shade.
Inflorescence consisting of 3 to 7 bracts. Red over most of bract with some yellow
at base. Lower bract often with green leaflet. Rachis yellow, sometimes greenish-yellow.
Sepals light green. Blooming throughout the year.
