Heliconia indica cv. Striata

                This shade ( 50%) liking Heliconia grows 5' to 15'( 1.50m to 4.50m ) high.

                Usually however the plants stay much smaller , often seen between 3' to 5' ( 90cm to 150 cm )

                Inflorescence is green and not very attractive but plant is being cultivated for its

                interesting leaves which carry distinctive white ore cream lateral striations.

                The second picture on the right side shows Heliconia indica cv. Bangkok, which is also variegated.
