Heliconia acuminata cv. Ruby
A smaller Heliconia growing 4' to 6'( 1.20 m to 1.80 m ) high while enjoying 20% to 5o% of shade.
Inflorescence 3 to 5 bracts, red and usually with some pink at base containing
pale green or cream colored sepals. These have a blue-green band towards the tip
which is white. Blooming from May to December.
Interesting smaller Heliconia which requires less light than other varieties.
