Heliconia mathiasiae cv. 'Pacal'
A smaller to medium sized Heliconia that may grow 4' to 10' high ( 1.2m to 3.0 m ) in full sun
to 50% of shade.
Inflorescence comprising of 5 to 6 bracts which are dark red or deep pink-red.
Lower bract usually carrying a leaflet. Sepals yellow, shading to light green or green towards tip.
Rachis red, yellowish near upper bracts.
A Heliconia with "zingiberoid" arranged leaves.
Blooming throughout the year.
