Tabernaemontana longiflora -Crape Jasmine - Aponcynaceae
Some plants are very hard to find and this is one of them.
There are more than 300 species of Tabernaemontana growing in the tropics but it seems
that only a small number of them is being cultivated. Tabernaemontana divaricata is one of the
better known species which has been called Pinwheel Flower.
Tabernaemontana longiflora however grows taller and eventually forms a shrub of 2m to 4m in
height. The plants is attractive because of its beautiful broad leaves with wavy edges and its
night-fragrant long flowers of pure white.
This is a rare ornamental of which we have grafted plants available depending on the season.
