Etlingera elatior 'Pink Selection' - Torch Ginger
This fine selection of Etlingera elatior has been found among seedlings in Thailand and is significantly
different from the species. While growing characteristics are similar the inflorescence is remarkably
beautiful for its pink bracts which are slimmer than on the species yet not as long as on 'Yamamoto'.
The pink color is shading to white or almost transparent towards the tip creating an impressive
porcelain-like effect. In addition this is the longest lasting cut-flower of all Etlingeras.
