
Costus amazonicus - variegated ( actually Costus arabicus variegatum but is sold as C. amazonicus in the nursery trade for a long time.)
A variegated ginger which will grow 2' to 4' ( 60 to 120 cm )high. Best in partial shade.
Cultivated mainly for the attractive leaves while the white flowers seldom appear.
Hardiness: USDA Zone 9 to 11.
