Calathea louisae - Maranataceae
A beautiful foliage plant growing about 3' high in partial shade to shade.
Leaves are oval, wavy along edges and up to 1' long. Greenish-white contrasting pattern
along midrib and purplish-maroon below.
White small flowers appear from spiky inflorescence during summer.
Needs humidity and well drained planting medium.
Apparently hardy in USDA zone 8 to 11.
